RES CIC has proudly been dedicated to providing essential energy efficiency advice and support to communities across Staffordshire, Shropshire and beyond. Through our collective efforts, we have not only helped individuals reduce their energy bills but also empowered them with the knowledge and resources needed to maintain healthy, warm homes.

How RES CIC is Changing Lives Through Energy Efficiency

Over the past year, RES CIC has proudly supported thousands of households in their pursuit of energy efficiency.

Our initiatives have directly reached over 7,000 people, providing them with tailored advice on how to reduce their energy consumption and expenses.

We’ve successfully assisted more than 2,355 vulnerable individuals, helping them navigate support systems and access necessary funding to improve their living conditions.

Energy assessments and improvements were carried out in over 410 homes, ensuring that residents can keep warm without financial strain.

The Importance of Impartiality in Energy Solutions

Impartiality continues to be one of RES CIC’s key principles. We recognise that providing unbiased energy advice is crucial to changing our communities for the better. Our recommendations are carefully tailored to each household’s unique needs, with no commercial interest. This independent approach empowers residents to act on our advice with confidence.

Our impartial stance is reflected in our comprehensive training programs for advisors, who are equipped to offer bespoke, honest guidance that prioritises the resident’s welfare above all else. By maintaining impartiality, we ensure our advice is always reliable and in the best interest of the household.

Engaging Communities with Residential Energy Support CIC

Engaging effectively with people and communities is another cornerstone of RES CIC. We recognise that discussing energy usage can be complicated and sensitive, particularly when finance is involved. To address this, we’ve created a supportive environment where residents feel comfortable expressing concerns without judgement. Our multi-channel outreach—including phone, WhatsApp, emails, and home visits—ensures accessibility and flexibility, making our services easily reachable for all, especially the most vulnerable.

Warmer Homes Project

Our community-focused projects, such as the Warmer Homes Project, deliver mobile energy advice to underserved areas. By providing on-the-ground support, we not only enhance accessibility but also demonstrate our commitment to delivering practical, actionable advice where it’s needed the most.

Employee Energy Advice

Our Employee Energy Advice workshops are another way we embrace our role as a trusted community partner, delivering fully funded energy advice and support to workforces across the region, improving accessibility to impartial energy support even further.

As well as direct engagement, we prioritise education, supplying residents with clear, simple materials that empower them to make informed decisions about retrofitting and energy efficiency. This varied approach ensures comprehensive support, promoting long-term energy savings and improving residents’ quality of life.
